Billings public safety agencies celebrate National First Responders Day

Billings Fire Department, Billings Police and surrounding public safety agencies are honoring the dedication and bravery of first responders on National First Responders Day. They said the brave men and women, including firefighters, paramedics, law enforcement officers, dispatchers and emergency medical personnel, are always ready to protect and serve, regardless of the hour, weather or danger. “We are proud to honor their dedication, sacrifice and unwavering commitment to keeping our community safe,” Billings Fire said in a social media post. The community is encouraged to take a moment to thank a first responder for their essential work, Billings Fire added.
