Officials say to take advantage of the cooler morning temperatures and keep all equipment clean paying more attention around the engine and exhaust. Machinery should be shut down immediately if temperatures go beyond safe levels. Remember fire safety and always have water, a shovel, and a fire extinguisher in case a fire is started. If you cannot get the fire out yourself, call 911 as quickly as possible.
