The Waynesville Rural Fire Protection District hosted a live structural fire training drill at its training facility on Sunday. On November 3, 29 firefighters from the Waynesville Rural Fire Protection District, Tri-County Fire Protection District, and Hazelgreen Fire Protection District participated in the event to hone their skills.
Crews practiced extending hose lines and extinguishing interior structural fires. โAll three departments coming together to continue to sharpen their skills shows that we will continue to serve our citizens, as well as the citizens of the agencies we provide mutual aid for,โ Waynesville Rural Fire Protection District Chief Yurecko stated.
