A body shop in the Shady Grove community was heavily damaged Friday after a massive fire. The Jones County Fire Council said a call came in at 11:34 a.m. Friday, and several volunteer fire departments responded to the scene.
JCFC said two people suffered minor injuries, but declined to be taken to the hospital. The building was a total loss, with two vehicles also damaged, JCFC said.
An initial investigation suggested the fire could have started at the back of the building, but an official cause has yet to be determined, JCFC said.
