A man died after a mobile home fire in Corcoran early Thursday morning. Corcoran Police responded around 1:45 a.m. to a mobile home on the 7800 block of Maple Hill Road. By the time they arrived, most of the flames had been put out by a quick-thinking neighbor. Fire crews told KARE 11 reporter Audrey Russo that a neighbor put a hose through the window to extinguish some of the flames. Police officers pulled one man from the mobile home, but in an update Thursday afternoon, officials said the man was declared deceased at the hospital. Two police officers were checked out for smoke inhalation.
