VIDEO/PHOTOS: One worker is dead and another is injured after a structural collapse at Potterville High School on Monday, that’s according to Benton Township Fire and EMS. Emergency crews were dispatched from Eaton County, Benton Township and Windsor Charter Township to respond to the incident.
Benton Township Fire Captain Rick Sullivan got the call Monday afternoon to Potterville High School. “We were called to the construction site of the Potterville High School for a structural collapse pinning two male workers,” Benton Township Fire Department captain Rick Sullivan said. First responders successfully rescued the workers who were trapped in the collapse and transported them to a local hospital. One of the workers injured in the incident has passed away. “The family are in our thoughts and prayers, we offer up any condolences and our support,” Benton Township Fire Department captain Rick Sullivan said.
