The Iron Mountain Fire Department says there were no injuries in an attic fire Sunday evening. The Iron Mountain Fire Department says they were dispatched to 505 Vulcan Street on Sunday at 6:07 p.m. after receiving reports of smoke with activated smoke detectors.
When crews arrived, they found moderate smoke filling the bottom apartment. Crews located the fire in the attic and put it out before it could spread to other apartment units.
All occupants were out of the building at the time of the fire. Assisting on scene included the Iron Mountain Police Department, Iron Mountain DPW, DTE and Dickinson County Sheriffโs Department.
