Firefighters will take on police officers in a charity hockey game. To benefit Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), the Grand Rapids Police Department and the Grand Rapids Fire Department will play against each other in a game of hockey on April 12 at Van Andel Arena. In the last three years, this event has raised more than $60,000 for MDA, according to city officials.
