VIDEO/PHOTO: A large structure fire sent thick smoke billowing over Flint Saturday afternoon. The fire destroyed an abandoned building in the 4000 block of South Saginaw Street, which formerly housed Woobie’s Bar and Ray’s Bar, according to the Flint Downtown Development Authority. A column of heavy smoke towered over Flint’s south side for hours Saturday while the Flint Fire Department contained the blaze. Fire officials could not immediately confirm whether anyone was injured. Investigators will look into what sparked the fire.
