Daniel B. Donahoe, known affectionately as Danny by those who knew him best, of Dorchester, formerly of Canton, passed away suddenly on March 24, 2025, at the age of 42. Born on February 18, 1983, in Boston, Danny was a beacon of strength and kindness in the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He took his last breath surrounded by love in Needham, leaving behind a legacy of service, devotion, and heartfelt memories. A proud Bostonian through and through, Danny was the loving dad of his best buddy, Micky, who was the light of his life. He was the beloved son of Bernard and Kathleen Donahoe, and a treasured brother to Darren. He is survived by his cherished girlfriend Tracy Damon. He is also survived by Lindsay Cook, his former wife, and wonderful co-parent to their son Micky.
Dannyโs passing is a profound loss not just to his family but also to his many cousins, nieces, nephews, close friends, and the 1,500 brothers and sisters of the Boston Fire Department Local 718, who will all sorely miss him.
