The blaze happened at a two-story single-family dwelling located at 5800 Telegraph Road, with no injuries reported. Fire officials say the fire resulted in an estimated $1,000 in damages. The Singerly Fire Company responded to the incident with 40 firefighters, managing to control the fire within three hours. Notably, the home was not equipped with smoke alarms or a fire sprinkler system, officials said. A neighbor discovered the fire, and a vehicle was reportedly seen leaving the scene shortly before the fire was noticed. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
