The Eastbank Consolidated Fire Department was on the scene of an apartment fire in Metairie. The fire happened at an apartment complex at 4400 W Napoleon Ave. near Clearview. Viewer videos show the apartment complex engulfed in flames. Four firefighters were transported to a local hospital for minor injuries, one adult was transported to a local hospital for burns, and one infant was transported to Children’s Hospital for burns. WDSU is working to learn more information on what caused the fire.
