A retired fire engine from the Evansville Fire Department is now serving a new purpose with the city’s Street Maintenance Department. The repurposed truck will be involved in community cleanup efforts, including projects like Dress Plaza. Although the truck has new markings, amber lights, and no siren, it remains the same reliable engine.
