No injuries reported after vacant house catches fire in South Bend

PHOTOS: No one was injured after a vacant home caught fire early Saturday morning in South Bend. The fire broke out just before 3 a.m. on the 1400 block of East Campeau Street.

Firefighters say heavy smoke and flames were seen coming from the building when they arrived. The South Bend Fire Department says they got the fire under control in about 20 minutes.

The home was unoccupied, and there were no working utilities. No firefighters were injured while they put out the fire. An investigation is underway to determine a cause.
