VIDEO: The Concord Township Fire Department reports crews responded to the 60000 block of Pembrook Lane for a reported residential structure fire around 11:22 a.m. Tuesday. Upon arrival, fire officials found a working house fire with smoke and fire showing. Firefighters had the fire under control within 25 minutes. Crews rescued a dog and cat from the home, and no injuries have been reported. Concord was assisted by Baugo, Goshen, Harrison, and Jefferson Fire Departments utilizing Elkhart Countyโs new Mutual Aid Box Alarm System. Crews quickly attacked the fire and prevented it from spreading any further into the home.
