PHOTOS: A firefighter in Greenfield is recovering from minor injuries after battling a vacant house fire early Sunday morning. According to a Facebook post from the Sugar Creek Township Fire Department, at around 1:15 a.m. on Sunday, crews were dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 2400 block of County Road West 200 South.
When firefighters arrived they say they found a vacant single-family home with flames on the first floor. Firefighters say no one was home at the time and no one else was injured. Crews also said the fire was quickly under control and was put out. The Sugar Creek Township Fire Department says one firefighter sustained minor injuries during operations, but did not say how exactly they were hurt.
