PHOTOS: Three families were displaced by an apartment fire in Bargersville on Saturday. According to the Bargersville Fire Department, crews were called to the 3200 block of Hartshire Drive around 4:10 p.m. to look into a report they had received about an apartment fire. When BFD personnel arrived at the scene, they saw light smoke emanating from an apartment building.
Firefighters later entered the building and found heavy smoke inside one of the apartments in the complex. BFD crews then conducted a search of the building and confirmed all of its occupants had made it outside safely.
After making an interior attack on the fire, first responders were able to contain the flames to just one unit. BFD indicated that the fire was extinguished by 4:23 p.m.
