VIDEO: A fire broke out in downtown Rock Island early Sunday morning. Huge plumes of smoke were caught on KWQCโs First Alert Skycam network.
Firefighters went to the 500 block of 20th Street around 7:30 a.m. for a vehicle fire and put it out, according to a media release. When KWQC crews got to the fire, they saw a damaged red pickup truck.
Firefighters told TV6 this kind of fire will let off a lot of smoke. Officials said no one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
