Truck catches fire in Twin Falls with driver inside

VIDEO: A truck burst into flames Wednesday evening near the Perrine bridge while the driver was in the vehicle.

KMVT spoke to the driver of the truck. At around 8:15, he was driving with two passengers over the Perrine bridge southbound when he smelled something burning, he then realized his truck had caught fire.

He then pulled over to the side of the road into some brush that borders the parking lot of Mo Bettas and the former Outback Steakhouse, starting a small brush fire.

The fire department arrived 8 minutes later and quickly put out the fire. The truck was completely totaled. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
