Tree branch causes fire at Twin Falls preschool

Firefighters made quick work of a small fire that broke out at a preschool in Twin Falls Tuesday evening. Crews were called out around 5:30 p.m. to โ€œLil Buckaroosโ€ along Blue Lakes Boulevard North, between Filer Ave. and Heyburn Ave. A tree branch fell on some electrical lines, starting the fire, according to Battalion Chief Corey Beam. Firefighters controlled the flames in a few minutes and the fire only burned the side of a building. Everyone inside the preschool got out safely and no one was hurt, according to Beam. Idaho Power did shut off the power and worked to repair the downed lines.
