‘Sticky situation’: 5 gallons of glue spill on Highway 95 in Adams County

Idahoans were quite literally stuck in traffic on U.S. Highway 95 on Nov. 24. According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, a five-gallon bucket of glue was dropped on the highway sometime before midday. The glue spilled near mile marker 172, causing a sticky situation for travelers trying to make it through another Monday.

That section of U.S. Highway 95 was closed for about three hours while crews cleaned up the glue. No injuries or crashes were reported. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office said Meadows Valley Fire and the Idaho Transportation Department assisted with the cleanup and directing traffic impacted by the spill.
