VIDEO/ PHOTOS: One person is dead after Weiser officials said a motorhome caught fire Friday morning. The Weiser Police Department said it responded to reports of a motorhome fire around 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7 alongside Weiser Rural Fire and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. The fire was located near the Highway 95 and East Commercial Street intersection. Arriving first responders found the motorhome fully engulfed in flames, a news release said. Crews extinguished the fire; however, one person died in the incident.
The name and identity of the person are being withheld from the public at this time, pending notification of kin and coroner work, according to Weiser Police. Authorities do not suspect arson as of this time. The Idaho State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating while working alongside the Weiser Police Department.
