VIDEO: The Idaho Department of Lands has contained a wildfire that burned through the night north of Bonners Ferry. IDL says the concerning thing firefighters are facing is that the fire is still burning actively after dark, even at elevations above 2,800 feet. Typically, fires this time of year would be slowed by snowmelt and cooler evening temperatures, but this season is already presenting warmer nights and dry fuels.
