A barn burned down in Swan Valley, causing an estimated $75,000 in damages. Swan Valley Fire was alerted to a burning barn at 4:20 p.m. on September 8th at 649 Chapel Road. Heavy equipment was used to pull apart the hay to help douse the flames and prevent them from spreading. Several firefighters were spending the night to make sure no flames flare up and damage any of the nearby buildings. Swan Valley Fire chief, Travis Crystal, and the state fire marshal will be going in Tuesday to determine the cause of the fire.
