Crews contain Stan Fire south of Boise

Crews responded to the Stan Fire, which burned 8 miles south of Boise near Pleasant Valley Road. The fire started around 1:45 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 1 and was mapped at 67 acres. It was contained at 6:00 p.m. According to the Bureau of Land Management Idaho Fire, there are currently no evacuation orders or road closures in the area. The department stated that it worked to establish lines of containment. Several resources were assigned to the fire, including four engines, one overhead unit, and one dozer.
