Units damaged, families displaced after blaze at Roswell apartment complex, fire department says

Firefighters were able to work fast to put out a fire at an apartment complex in Roswell Tuesday night. According to the Roswell Fire Department, firefighters responded to a fire at the Rosemont Apartment Complex just after 7 p.m. They quickly started to put out the blaze once they arrived at the scene. Five units were damaged by fire, smoke and water. Utilities were shut off to the whole building, which affected 10 units. Multiple families were displaced, and the American Red Cross arrived to help those impacted. The fire department says the incident shows how important working smoke alarms are, as they can give early warning to residents so they have time to get out. Roswell Police, the City of Milton Fire Department and Alpharetta Fire Corps Volunteers also responded to the fire.
