VIDEO: After an eight-year hiatus, the Middle Georgia Firefighter Calendar is making a blazing comeback and turning up the heat for a great cause. Firefighters from across Macon-Bibb gathered Thursday to audition for a spot in the 2026 calendar, which raises money for Atrium Health Navicent’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital. The $20 calendar will feature local first responders who volunteered to strike a pose and support children’s healthcare in the region. Don’t let the muscles and smiles fool you. These heroes say it’s about a lot more than looking good. “I really just wanted to do the photography,” Tammi Cravey said, laughing. “But then I got roped into it—and I just want to do what I can to support the children.” That mission hits home for many, including Cravey, who recalled how the children’s hospital helped her son nearly a decade ago.
