VIDEO: South Trail Fire & Rescue Station 64 found a stowaway kitten in the Engine 64 fire truck on Tuesday morning. The orange tabby kitten crawled into the fire engine and into the pump panel. Crew members found the kitten after hearing it cry loudly. Station 64 crews were able to reach in and get the kitten out by its back end. It was greasy and hungry. The crew looked around the area after the rescue but did not spot any more kittens. One of the station’s driver engineers brought the kitten home to give it a bath, food, and a forever home to stay in.
