House fire erupts in Fort Walton Beach, no injuries reported

PHOTOS: A structure fire on Kanuha Drive in Fort Walton Beach left residents displaced on Sunday, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office. The Ocean City-Wright Fire Control District responded to the blaze at 445 Kanuha Drive around 2:30 p.m., where the fire began on the outside of a middle unit in a quadplex. It extended up the rear wall into the attic space of the two middle units, which suffered the most significant damage, according to the Ocean City-Wright Fire Control District. All four units were affected, displacing all residents. No injuries were reported. The American Red Cross is assisting with temporary housing for those impacted.
