On Tuesday, Cape Coral Fire said Booker, the dog, decided to go for a stroll while his family was at dinner. Somehow, he ended up in a canal! CCFD stated that Engine 3 and Rescue 3 responded and brought Booker ashore. Booker and his family are visiting from Boston. Thanks to him wearing a collar with accurate and up-to-date contact information, firefighters were able to reach his family.
