PHOTOS: A fire broke out on Monday morning at a single-story wood-framed home in Escambia County. Escambia County Officials say the incident occurred on the 3800 block of W. Lee St., where heavy flames and smoke were visible when firefighters arrived at 10:45 a.m. Escambia County Fire Rescue managed to extinguish the blaze by 11:16 a.m. Officials say the fire was determined to have been caused by an electrical issue inside the house and resulted in damage primarily to the back left of the home. However, smoke damage was extensive throughout the structure, leading to the displacement of two occupants. The American Red Cross provided temporary housing assistance to those affected. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and the Pensacola Fire Department assisted in the response.
