Cape Coral firefighters volunteered over the weekend to shave their heads as part of Clips for Cancer, a fundraiser supporting children battling cancer on the Gulf Coast. Before their haircuts, the fire personnel posed for photos. After the event, the Cape Coral Fire Department said, “Thanks to your generous donations, they were able to exceed their goal and raise over $5,000 to support children who are battling cancer and their families.” The money raised will go to Barbara’s Friends Golisano Children’s Hospital Cancer Fund.
