3 firefighters injured during mobile home fire in Santa Rosa County

PHOTOS: Three firefighters were injured during a mobile home fire in Holley on Saturday afternoon. The Holley-Navarre Fire District responded to the 3200 block of Bob Tolbert Road after receiving multiple calls about a mobile home on fire. According to Midway Fire District, the fire destroyed one mobile home and spread to a nearby residence.

“The first home collapsed due to the intensity of the fire. Crews from Engines 41 and 45 launched an aggressive attack, knocking down the flames in the second home and preventing further damage,” said Midway Fire District. Two firefighters had to be treated for overheating. A third firefighter was treated for a back injury.

“Holley-Navarre Fire District was assisted by Midway (Engine 37), Navarre Beach Fire Rescue (Ladder 49), and Florosa Fire Department (Truck 5), which provided district coverage,” Midway Fire District said. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
