A 25-year-old man is hospitalized after a crash on the Delaware Memorial Bridge early Saturday morning.
New Castle County Paramedics, EMS personnel from the Holloway Terrace and Minquadale Fire Companies and a Delaware State Police helicopter were dispatched to the accident scene around 4:22 a.m. and found the victim trapped in his car.
Rescuers worked for about 10 minutes to free the man, who was treated at the scene for possible internal injuries, along with minor injuries to his chest, arms and legs.
He was in stable condition when he was airlifted to Christiana Hospital. The crash is being investigated by DRBA Police.
