Crews respond to third-alarm structure fire in New Hartford

VIDEO: Emergency crews responded to a fire on 220 Main St. at 11:35 a.m. on Saturday. Litchfield County Dispatch reportedly received eleven 911 calls about the fire. Crews arrived and found a fully involved third-alarm fire. They said at least three units appeared to already be destroyed. According to the New Hartford Volunteer Fire Dept., over 20 agencies and departments supported the crew during the fire.

Firefighters thanked their mutual aid partners for all the help. They also thanked the Good Friends Restaurant and Daniel Jerram, First Selectman of New Hartford, for providing 16 pizzas and coffee for everyone on scene. No further details were released regarding injuries or displacements.
