Firefighters extinguished a bus fire that broke out Tuesday night on Interstate 95 in Norwalk, according to fire officials. In a news release, Deputy Fire Chief Steve Shay said crews encountered a fully involved bus fire near Exit 16 on I-95 just before midnight. The driver fled from the area before crews arrived, Shay said. No injuries were reported. The incident is currently under investigation, according to Shay.
