VIDEO: A home caught fire in the Bloomfield suburb of Hartford, and the residents are expected to be OK, according to officials. Firefighters responded to a home on Brookline Avenue around 2 a.m. Thursday. There were people inside the home when the fire started, but they are OK, firefighters said. It’s not clear at this time how many people were inside. Damage can be seen on the front of the home. Fire crews from Windsor responded to assist, and Simsbury and East Granby fire crews helped with fire station coverage. The fire has been extinguished, and the scene has been cleared.
