VIDEO: Fire crews battled a blaze at a scrap yard in Montville Wednesday afternoon. Officials say that it was located at Connecticut Scrap on Pequot Road. A scrap pile and an excavator were involved. A dozen tankers were called in. The fire was deemed under control at around 8:30 p.m. No injuries or damage was reported. Hot spots are being drowned to prevent any flare ups. The fire marshalโs office has assumed the investigation.
