10 displaced in New Haven multi-family fire

Fire officials say 10 people were displaced after a multi-family fire on Quinnipiac Avenue in New Haven Thursday night. The blaze happened around 11:08 p.m. Crews saw heavy fire coming from the second floor of the apartment, according to the Assistant Chief Dan Coughlin. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Red Cross is assisting the 10 people displaced, fire officials said.
