Crews rescue dachshund trapped 15 feet inside pipe in Colorado Springs

Finley the dachshund is back with his family after being rescued from a pipe on Wednesday, according to the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD). CSFD received a call Wednesday night saying the pup was stuck inside a pipe under a concrete slab on a porch. Finley was reportedly trapped for several hours.

Fire crews responded and used search cams to find him about 15 feet into the pipe. Crews then cut a hole in the concrete to dig out dirt and reach under the slab to get the dog. Rescue teams report that Finley immediately began running around and wagging his tail when reunited with his family.
