VIDEO: Upper Pine River Fire Protection ordered the evacuation of West Vallecito Creek Drive in La Plata County Saturday morning. Crews said this is due to the levee having branches on the west side of Vallecito Creek. The flooding forced 390 evacuations in the area, and 11 rescues were completed. According to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), a flood warning was issued on Saturday for La Plata County, Hinsdale County, San Juan County and Archuleta County due to heavy rainfall. The warning is in effect until Wednesday.
