PHOTOS: Calaveras Consolidated Fire Protection District crews responded to an abandoned single-family dwelling structure fire on Sunday morning. According to CCFPD, the fire occurred around 6:30 a.m. on Camanche Parkway near Wallace. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they reported a fully involved home on fire.
However, fire officials said that this house is not a stranger to being caught on fire. Firefighters mentioned that this address has been the site of multiple fires in the past. This summer, CCFPD said the County Code Enforcement evicted all of the trespassers and residents that were housed in the trailers, along with the home that burned.
All of the occupants were cited for multiple code violations, including trespassing. CCFPD stated that there were no injuries to firefighters or civilians and the cause of the fire is undetermined and suspicious in nature. Down below is a slideshow showing what firefighters arrived too and after for what the home looked like when the fire was put out.
