VIDEO: Crews contained a vegetation fire in Sacramento County on Monday afternoon, according to the Cosumnes Fire Department. Officials said crews were dispatched to the fire just after 3:30 p.m. in the area of Wilton Road near the north side of the Cosumnes River. Footage from LiveCopter 3 showed firefighters making water drops as the fire burned in dry grass and brush. A plume of white smoke was rising in the area. The Cosumnes Fire Department said the area where the fire was burning was difficult for crews to access. There were no reported injuries or structures threatened. As of 5 p.m., officials said the fire had spread across 47 acres.
