Jonesboro firefighters were on the scene of a warehouse fire on East Nettleton Avenue.
Chief Marty Hamrick told K8 News that the call came in at 12:05 p.m. Thursday about a structure fire in the 5600 block of Nettleton.
When crews arrived, he said the building was “fully engulfed” in flames and the roof collapsed shortly after JFD got there.
Hamrick said the building appeared to be a warehouse of some kind. He said some of the fire spread to the nearby grass, but crews were able to get it under control.
No one was hurt; however, Hamrick said the building was a “total loss.” Crews will remain on the scene, dousing any hotspots.
