Several RVs damaged by fire at Litchfield Park storage facility

VIDEO: West Valley residents may have awoken to smoke in the air after a fire broke out at an RV storage facility in Litchfield Park. A huge plume of black smoke rose over the area near Indian School and El Mirage roads, according to video from the Citizen App, after the fire was reported around 6:30 a.m. on Monday. Avondale firefighters responded to the RV storage facility and were able to contain the blaze. The cause of this fire is still under investigation. A fire department spokesperson said the fire damaged 10-15 RVs, and that number could increase as the damage is still being assessed. No injuries were reported due to the fire.
