Multiple sheds burned in Drexel Heights fire

VIDEO: Crews from the Drexel Heights Fire District had their hands full at a call over the weekend. Crews responded to a backyard fire Saturday night, April 5, in the area of South Valhalla and West Los Reales. Crews found the fire in the backyard of a structure, as well as a brush fire spreading to the rear of the property. Drexel Heights Fire says the main structure was not directly involved in the fire but was exposed to two sheds burning in the backyard.

These sheds appeared to be an RV-sized trailer, and a single-wide mobile home used for storage. The building was not occupied at the time of the fire. A third shed, located beside the single-wide mobile home, was on fire due to the spread of the brush fire. All fires were brought under control by crews on scene. No injuries were reported. The cause remains under investigation.
