Arson suspected in Cybertruck fire at Mesa Tesla dealership

VIDEO: Authorities are looking into possible arson after a Cybertruck was set on fire in Mesa early Monday morning.

Crews were called to the fire at a Tesla dealership near Hampton Avenue and Southern Avenue, just west of Sossaman Road, around 2 a.m.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the truck’s flames before it reached the battery or building, and there is no threat to the community. There was also the word “THIEF” misspelled in graffiti on a wall.

Arizona’s Family was at the scene where federal investigators were investigating the charred Cybertruck and graffiti on the wall as arson. Hampton Avenue will remain closed as the investigation continues.
