No injuries in Anchorage fire

VIDEO: No injuries were reported after 20 units responded to a residential fire in Mountain View Saturday morning, according to the Anchorage Fire Department (AFD). Someone in the neighborhood called it in around 5:30 a.m., AFD said. A boarded-up 8-plex near the intersection of N Bragaw Street and Thompson Avenue was on fire.

AFD said it took about two hours to get the flames under control. The fire had engulfed the roof. AFD fire investigators are looking into where the fire started and what caused it. Online Municipality of Anchorage property tax records show Rural Alaska Community Action Program, Inc., also known as RurAL CAP, owns the property. Alaskaโ€™s News Source reached out to the organization, but did not immediately hear back.
