The Anchorage Fire Department has a new battalion chief. Eric Lawson received his badge this week, stepping into his new role overseeing local firehouses. Battalion chiefs are responsible for ensuring crews are ready to respond and that fire stations operate safely. And to all our heroes: thanks for all that you do.
