One Albertville family has been temporarily displaced after lightning struck their home Monday morning, causing a major fire. They, along with county leaders, are preparing once again for a round of severe weather headed into the area on Tuesday. A home on Honeysuckle Lane was struck by lightning at around 5 a.m., according to homeowners. That lightning strike caused a fire that damaged much of the interior of the home. Inside the home was a couple, their baby, and their dogs, but no one was injured. Now, the family is gathering whatโs left of their belongings and getting ready for more possible storms on Tuesday. Blake Farmer with the Marshall County Emergency Management Agency said the county is at a three out of five risk for severe storms and damaging winds on Tuesday.
